An Unfading Love
God loves you us so much! Many times we often forget his love is unconditional. There is no sin too big nor small that will make him stop loving us. “For I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels won’t, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God’s love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are—high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean—nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us.” (Living Bible, Romans 8:38-39)
Think about this: Have you ever prayed for God to deliver or keep you from doing a particular thing that is not Christ like? (I have, numerous of times.) Only to commit the same transgression about 2.5 seconds after praying. Then the enemy quickly bombards you with feelings of guilt and plants seeds that God doesn’t love you anymore because of the bad deed. Satan will even tell you to stop praying because God is not listening. That’s a lie!! Never, ever allow your heart to receive such a thing. God hates sin, but not us. Repent and keep decreeing the word over yourself. The change will come. God shows his love to us in so many ways. We make it safely to our destinations, he answers our prayers, we have food to eat, transportation, a bed, we’re in our right minds… the list goes on and on.
Listen, the biggest act of his love was him dying on the cross for our sins. He did not have to suffer, if he didn’t want to. “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” (Living Bible, Romans 5:8) He knows we are going to falter in this life. Nevertheless, his love for us will not change.
Embrace God’s love in your life. He will show you, if you let him.
