Laying Down Your Own Strength
We can not fight spiritual wars with our natural strength!
The weapons we fight with, are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10:4)
Let God, be God! Quit trying to fight what is obviously too big for you. He wants to show His strength and power.
You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you… (2 Chronicles 20:17)
How do I give it to God? Stop worrying about the problem and trust Him. He is able to do it all.
Your solution may come in many forms, just be prepared. It may come in the form of a counselor. There’s nothing wrong with seeking support. It may come in the form of forgiveness. Letting go releases you from the pain and recycled hurt. It may come in the form of ending a relationship. You are opening yourself up to new possibilities. God knows exactly what you need. He is omniscient!
